ABOUT ME
Chris Kozak has been a passionate music and ESL educator in Japan for over twenty years. He holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Alberta, Canada, has teaching accreditation from a wide range of institutions and associations, and continues to research cutting-edge, active learning-style pedagogy. By moving away from ‘chalk and talk’ style of teacher-focussed lesson planning, he has continued to refine the 'mini-seminar’-style of classroom facilitation. He continues to learn from world-class pedagogues including Howard Zinn and Bill Bigelow, Grant Wiggins and Jay McTighe, Paul Ginnis, and many others.

After attending Al Gore’s Climate Reality Leadership Corps Training in Houston in 2016, he has spoken at several Fortune 500 companies, schools, and non-profit organizations about the urgent need for climate action.
