Time to go to school

Social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic doesn't mean being a couch potato, watching mindless Netflix all day.

Although it's really important to recharge your batteries and tune out sometimes, now is a great time to stay connected with others who care about climate change and are continuously learning about intersectionality - the concept of poverty, BLM, inequality, gender, and how these issues connect with the climate.

Recently, I've been talking with my students about fast fashion and the negative impacts our shopping habits have on the planet. We are learning from the amazing TEDEd Earth School website.
